Note that Deadletter is no longer supported. It has not been tested with Eudora 5.0 and above.
Deadletter can be installed on Eudora Lite version 3.05 or higher. It is available for personal use free of charge. It may not be sold or included for sale with other products without the express written consent of Isaac Software Design.

How to test Deadletter:

The best way to see if Deadletter works for you is to install it in your Eudora folder and let it do it's job as you use Eudora. Our testers have found that Deadletter catches close to 100% of the junk mail sent to their system, but does occasionally flag some non-junk mail. So it's important to be sure to scan the headers in your DeadMail mailbox for mail you may actually want. See the Read Me and Help files for instructions on how to make sure messages from specific senders are not screened.

How NOT to test Deadletter:

It may be tempting to immediately send yourself a bunch of junk mail messages to see if they get through. You will be disappointed to see that they do. Why? Because, by default, Deadletter does not perform junk mail checks on mail specifically addressed to you (you will notice that nearly all bulk email does NOT have your address in the To: or CC: fields). If you want Deadletter to check for junk mail, even if it is addressed to you, then the Junk Mail page of the settings dialog will let you do that.
